Rambling River is a trailer-based watershed model and stream table funded by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Rambling River is an educational tool designed to demonstrate issue-based watershed scenarios to groups of all ages and affiliations. Prescott Creeks is excited to share the stream table with schools, community groups, municipalities, engineers, and any group that’s interested in learning about watershed and stream dynamics.
Rambling River is equipped to demonstrate a range of watershed features including pollution sources and movement, flooding, stream-crossing safety, and development considerations, along with stream dynamics including meander formation, alluvial deposition, groundwater movement, erosion control, and more.
With Rambling River, Prescott Creeks uses fun to impart knowledge!
